DESCRIPTION:Come for a joyful Canticle of the Sun celebration of the Feast of St. Francis\nSunday\, October 4th\,\nbeginning at 4 PM\nin the meadows of Gilbertie’s Farm in Easton\, CT.\nProgram\n\n3:30 PM\nArrival\nPlease arrive early to allow enough time to walk to the meadows and be seated before the program begins.\n4 PM\nCanticle of the Sun\nMulti-Sensory Arts Experience\nfeaturing meditations\, an art exhibition\, poetry\, and music.\n5 PM\nHoly Mass (Novus Ordo)\n celebrated in the ancient tradition of ad orientem\, facing East.\n6 PM\nShared Feast in the Fields\nFollowing Holy Mass\, join us for a shared feast in the fields with family and friends.\nPlease bring an appetizer or dish to share. Chairs will be provided; please bring a blanket for the Feast in the Fields.\nPlease let us know that you will be coming by indicating below the number of people in your group along with your name and email address. \nA free-will donation may be made at the feast to help cover the costs of this event and to provide funds for future events and projects related to Canticle of the Sun. \nIn this year of St. Francis\, we are grateful for your participation in this unique celebration.\nMost High\, all-powerful\, good Lord\, Yours are the praises\, the glory\, and the honor\, and all blessings. \nIn the spirit of St. Francis’ love for all of God’s creatures\, we kindly ask that pets remain at home during the event.
